Shipping policy

Summit 4x4 offers two shipping options for all rooftop tent orders:

Mainfreight Depot Delivery
Orders will be shipped to the nearest Mainfreight depot for collection. Once dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking details and the depot location. Please bring a valid photo ID and your order confirmation email when collecting your item. Note if you are in the south or not near a Mainfreight depo, we will look at options & get it to the nearest reasonable freight depo with a freight carrier that suits best. Door drop could also be possible (*extra costs may be incurred)
- Delivery Times: Most orders will be delivered within 3–7 business days, depending on your location. Rural or remote areas may take longer.
- Depot Locator: Mainfreight has depots across New Zealand’s North and South Islands. If you're unsure of your nearest depot, please contact us for assistance.
Local Pickup – Napier
Customers can choose to collect their orders directly from Napier. Please contact us to arrange local pickup and discuss the details.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and preferred shipping option.
For local pickup in Napier, there are no shipping charges.

Packaging: All shipments will be delivered in their original packaging to ensure the product is protected during transit. For returns or warranty claims, the original packaging must be retained.
Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the tent upon collection. If the packaging shows signs of damage, notify the depot staff and contact Summit 4x4 immediately at sales@summit4x4.co.nz
Delivery Limitations: We ship only within New Zealand’s North and South Islands. Summit 4x4 does not deliver to PO Boxes or addresses outside of New Zealand mainland.
